I sit here you know Sometimes feeling a little Too exposed Left raw by the whip lash of your past Resurfacing Blaming me for whatever bad is about to happen You even had the audocity once To crown me your Guardian Angel But I'm tired I'm about to fall from this pedastool I'm tired of praying for you when you go out to get your fix Always enebreated by the lies you feed your veins I'm tired of being your good little girl so you can show the world that even Demons can redeem themselves I'm so tired of praying So tired of this codependent hell.... If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

sad, bittersweet and yet brilliant...in this read you have answered the questions of co-denpendancy...no one but no one can save another...nor make them happy, if they are not already...no one is a knight in shining armor, or will save "your" soul...it is most assuridly about the understanding of singularity of self...and it is cruel to smother another like that. To thine own self be true! ~ and that goes for him as well! Co-dependency is an addiction in its own right. It appears to me that you have a habit to kick yourself, Dear Kristen. You are not his keeper. He's a big boy and is responsible for his own choices in life ~ as are you! Choose wisely my friend!
