The world is turning day by day,
problems coming in every way.
step out of the door, you hear a gun shot,
knowing what can never be bought.
Peace, happiness, trust and friendship,
if you could chose just one, which would you pick?
strangers keep coming one by one,
taking everyone's stuff, thinking they've won.
putting people in jails, until there's no more room,
everywhere you go, there's some kind of sonic boom.
the skies are clouding over, gray and black,
like someone put the world in a great big sack.
ready to get away, gonna move somewhere soon,
what if all the world is at it's doom?
the people living next to me were shot yesterday,
nobody can seem to get their way.
why do people have to be oh so mean,
taking away Jews as if they've never been seen.
being taken away from family is a sad, sad thing,
it all happens so fast like one big bang.
someone must have a messed up mind,
to throw people away, like they weren't worth the time.
little babies didn't get a chance to live,
mommies and daddies had to say goodbye to their kids.
what if they don't get one last kiss or hug,
someone just smacked 'em down, like a bug.
what was so different about these people
that made you and me solid and them so feeble?
why couldn't someone stand up and help,
instead of ignoring a humans painful yelp?
walking down the street pretending not to know,
what's going on in the world. Nobady told you to go
leave your home and die unwillingly
having to leave when your told, not happily.
this should shake your heart and make you see,
that we should be nice, and let people be.
