powder sugar falls from the sky
and yet it's hardly sweet
memories of yelling
and the stinging tears down my face
i wish you could see me like this
feeling 2 feet high
and crying on the floor
you mention confidence and a laugh track goes off in my head
these days my voice has gotten louder
to compensate for lack of self
and yet theres no difference seen
just more coffee
in an empty coffee cup
my winter breath shows itself
with me still hiding behind it
you'll hold my hand
and lie to me
i'll kiss your lips
and scream
these days are getting shorter
i don't dare sleep
memories invading my dream like a bad home movie
i wish you could have seen me like this

exhale,
If that's the exhale I'd like to read the inhale. Good write.

Vacancy In The Park

March…Someone has walked across the snow,
Someone is looking for he knows not what.

It is like a boat that has pulled away
From a shore at night and disappeared.

It is like a guitar left on a table
By a woman who has forgotten it.

It is like the feeling of a man
Come back to see a certain house.

The four winds blow through the rustic arbor,
Under its mattresses of vines.
