To my side I hear a sound of waves upon a hull. I call. The fog is thick. I hear a responding feminine. Parallel course through the mists of color. I wonder if on this journey you could see your being near me? Just out of sight but there. Like you, I know not where I will, or am, only that I must go on. Would you mind? I'd like to hear what you see with all your eyes. Those woman's words in a woman's voice would mean so much. Often, I fear the scars, of even my own victories. And I will share the braveries I've learned, when your own injuries dread the dark. The wind is up. I stay the wheel. Through the evening, again I call. Are you there? I am here. Sailing, sailing. Perhaps we are going together home. [This message has been edited by Huan Yi (10-18-2004 09:02 PM).] |

"Would you mind? I like to hear what you see with all your eyes." This is why I wake up each day, I loved those lines. |
