Water Lilly A water lily caught the sun The light and I became as one Transcending to a flight of muse Struck a fire lit a fuss And reign began to sweep my mind Another kingdom of a kind Where wine and roses filled my view And visions of a phantom you You lay within a field of green My heart gushed love to paint the scene I knelt and took your hand in mine And in my mind I built a shrine I knew it was a fantasy But could not leave the ecstasy Placed my finger light your lips And said don’t talk I would a sip You rose and placed a kiss on me And ever since a lily be |
