In us recurrences stir to the pitch of dream, tremors that flesh the early miles with snarls of light, seal my body tightly into the brutal miracle of the metallic hours as they shiver and rack the body with sobs in syllables that erupt a quick ambergris, psoriasis of the soul, like foamy sparrows perched on our arms, clutched to the tender pink apothecary of roses, sink some terrible radiance of talons deeply there, to drink memory down in one breath you wreath fires brighter than those of the grave Christ, burning ghost- rose bushes to restore these agonies to the frantic dignity of lambs as they lay in the wet pastures of heaven that are now but a murmur of feeble wings and dreary rain, on the hot rashes of the skin that run like ink, burn as Ankh becomes an undulant crucifix sealed by a valentine written in the quick blood, of a recurrent dream.
