I have always been a fan of Escher which in a way was how the original words became 9 by 3 and 3 by 9 travelling on the same inventive staircase. Dave Dave |

I forgot to post the poem Nice one Dave On a wind swept hill Swords tie my heart Echoing heels whirling The sun dawned silhouetted romance In a circle of steel Damsel grey leather glistening On the wheel you Enshrined upon my neck Mud echoing pounding Maid for me Everything free On a wish Swords to lacerate my heart Attacker or defender Puncturing my defences Bleeding For your desires Of my wishes To finality Encircling me with steel Of my song In mock plays That cut the soul Of my night Of Death Granting your desires To cheat your desires |

Thanks Copperbell. I think I prefer this to the other, but the other makes me want to write more - this makes me want to think. So on the other I can write without thinking - probably a relief. thanks Daveuju |

Mirror images shaded in grey but brought to color in your words. Excellent write. I am assuming you were talking about M.C. Escher and I agree if so. I am a huge fan as well and have been since I can remember. Also am glad you came back and posted the poem as for a minute there I sorted of had a brain stall until I scrolled down. LOL Very much enjoyed the write and am becoming a big fan of your perspective. |

Mark I should have used his full name - M.C. Escher. He has inspired my thinking for a long time, but along with authors on Body Language, Meditation, Chinese Massage, Accountancy, IT, Management and those correspondence courses that to a degree made the difficult seem simple he is sublime and I am a little tongue in cheek. Before you hit me with advanced mathematics - I tend to work with words these days and when threatened - I have a 3 year subscription to the Economist. thanks Dave |
