The shadow of the Wind

She stays a ghost in deep retreat
Yet whispers to my fantasy
A shadow of the winds repeat
A rapture of minds melody

She lies within my frame of thought
Like colored fish near coral rock
A hiding place of safe resort
Without the burden of a lock

She plays within my shadows door
The very scent of rose and lace
An overture of evermore
The fragrance of a warm embrace

The shadow of the winds implore
A phantom on an island base
Desire and a well of more
The nectar of a flowers grace

She traces me each night I sleep
It’s only day time that I weep

This one has a touch of melancholy to it Sy.  Your last line grabbed me.  I wouldnt ever want to see our dear Sy in weeping...
here's a big ole hug for you.
Good morning sir, happy weekend.

Mr. T., there is no doubt about it (as if there ever were any doubt!) ~ you ARE a poet. I truly am amazed by your talent ~ and the depth of your beautiful and sensitive soul.

~ May she "trace" you both night and day.

Loving hugs,
EA

Morning Sy!
I hope the morning sun never ever finds you weeping.
Ah..first a sonnet from Sy in the morning...
then my hot tea, and all is right with the world.
(well I can dream too can't I)

Thank you for making my day. A cup of hot coffee, my love to read to me, and "Sir Sy's" words, drifting through my mind.
