My eyes are red and teary, My throat is dry and sore. My ears are full of batten, I sweat from every pore. My chest is tight and croupy, My nose runs night and day. I caught this cold from kissing, And now I’ve got to pay.  |

Martie ~ Oh, yes indeedy! I caught it from my boyfriend. Last evening he bought 22 limes and a pound of fresh ginger and brought it over to my house. He made me some ginger tea and also squeezed a lime for me to drink. My orders are to squeeze a lime every half hour and drink it straight and to make myself a ginger tea every two hours. I'm following his doctor's orders! ~ and I am beginning to feel better! Thank you for your 'get well' wishes!  Linda |

Simple today was my shopping list As I browsed behind my cupboard door It was a only a kiss that I missed So a trip I made to the kiss store A special it seems on the shelf today Double coupon for any kisses bought Seemed a reasonable price for me to pay One kiss it was for that is what I sought Took it home tucked deep in my heart Relishing in the deal that I made today Little did I know what was about to start As a coupon cold decided to come out and play Don't bother to ask if it was worth the price As I lie here sipping drinks of squeezed lime My answer would be I would pay for it twice As that kiss also came with spoil me time *********** Get some rest ... now I gotta go shopping myself. |
