Above Everything I have wished for death often but now that I am at its door I have changed my mind about the world. It should go on; it is beautiful, even as a dream, filled with water and seed, plants and animals, others like myself, ships and buildings, and messages, filling the air—a beauty, if ever I have seen one. In the next world, should I remember this, I will praise it above everything. David Ignatow |

We may have gotten off on the wrong foot with my teasing comment so long ago. But I must come back and tell you what a wonderful poem this is. What a gifted poet you are. write it all....write it all out and let us read. Contabo |

Sometimes the ice is thicker than others as are walls and barriers. I always try to remember that no matter how many times I come across a frozen stream, I know underneath all that ice, there is still a flow ... life, movement, signs of hope of cleansing. Wonderful write as always and I am glad I found this one before it dropped off the page. I guess I need to browse deeper on the pages as they seem to move quickly at times. |

Digging for your work is an act of love and yet it is such a shame that you're always buried. I wish you would share your work some place else. BTW, I received the notice about the book. Now, this poem: If only depression were as graceful as you make it seem. (((((BIGBEARHUGS))))) |

Mmm...you are popular sweetie. Been thinking today...as well as trying to get my back healed up here. (Ouch!) I have come to the realization I hate occupational therapy 3 times a week! LOL. But to the poem. This actually is quite insightful. A piece that speaks volumes for many I believe. Each of us reads it and sees within the words our own hurt. I think you have done well my love. Well indeed. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |
