No eyes but the eyes of a woman in love can flaunt the passion of sky and shed tears like an innocent child at the beauty of love’s honesty. Only the eyes of a woman in love can angle away from desire and hide in the corners of normality the deepest wish of her soul. No eyes but the eyes of a woman in love can see past intolerance and embrace the wonder of soul still here on a maiden voyage. If I had the eyes of a woman in love I could speak of the power they hold to see through time, distance, and space, and know of God’s given view. If I had the eyes I may wish to be blind on this my last and final foray into the mysterious complexities of this amazing thing - womanhood! |

Helen "Only the eyes of a woman in love can angle away from desire and hide in the corners of normality the deepest wish of her soul." and so it is...and since you know, then your eyes are those. As the others have said, this is a beautiful poem. All yours are! ![]() |
