Never has there been a time I wanted to be more Just a whisper in the breeze sublime A petal in the tease of for The soft repose of dawn’s expose Kept time on timid digit My fingerprints mete pulse, desires cross convulse Throbbing touch to touch in fidget A cause that comes to voice Thready floods my chest There is no choice There is no rest And as you turn In loves complete as words to spare I face my own defeat and learn To taste the rest let linger there Nor secrets kept, one heart to share Copyright Kkh 9/29/04 |
