A rewrite from times past, dedicated to all passionate truth seekers.

*

In my dreams I climb the highest mountains
ascending to the stars above, alongside you.

Machu Pichu calls to me, Denali, and Everest too.
Even Mount Masada in Israel will do.
Somewhere high above these earthly clouds suits me well,
somewhere to search for the proverbial Holy Grail.

Along some cosmic highway, our names would be engraved,
not atop earthly stones as thoughts enslaved,
buried in the emotional bondage
deposited selectively into our limited memory banks.

What would we find at the end of our climb?
Would we see each other’s purest essence in our auras?
Would we read elemental truths in each other’s mind?
In my dreams I climb,
seeking truth,
for proof of our reality.

I climb along with you too .... and when we are on the highest peak, we descend into the depth of our souls and there ..... the truth will manifest ...

One of my favorite themes and you developed it masterfully.

"What would we find at the end of our climb?"

Don't be surprised if you see your own essence staring back.

One step at a time, we climb, until the top we reach.  Should we slide, we shall be caught, and then continue to quest.  Enjoyed this.

Machu Pichu - yes, would love to see.  It was in a recent Smithsonian.

Thanks, Susan.
About now, I'm pondering a closer mountain....Mt St Helen's. *sigh* She is one you wouldn't want to be climbing on today.

Don't ever stop climbing. Or dreaming!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I really like to hike/climb with open minded friends with a good sense of humor. So, are you ready for a long hike Larry?
