We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...as we grasp the whip that leaves bloody trails down dark backs and sell children like cattle. We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...as children work, sicken, and die in sweatshops and factories, trying to earn enough to just survive. We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...as women are beaten, raped, thrown into jail, and force fed just becaause they wanted the right to vote. We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...as some young men are drafted and sent to fight, while a privileged few get deferments, and a college education keeps them stateside. We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...as only certain, well privileged schools recieve funding, and grants and NO CHILD WILL BE LEFT BEHIND is just words mouthed at election time. We hold these truths to be self evident That ALL men Are created equal... ...some more than others it would seem. |

I dont know all men And evident truths are issued from on high And no-one is created equal Nor do they drive slavery They usually drive hunger, thirst, control, manipulation of those and others and We hold these truths to be self evident Read the Song of the Shirt And how many of us fight against ageism, sickness, the rights of people not the rights of man You seem to want to speak - how many servants serve you; how many people do you live off; how many women in this world have you seen beaten, raped or used and done nothing about it In any country anyone of any sex is used, destroyed and by Government - no one else can destroy as well as a Government. The point I believe you are making is "that all people are equal, only some are more equal than most". It is cyclical but no-one had to volunteer for the forces and those with guts who wouldn't fight, had the courage to be Conscientious Objectors" and not hide their courage. Dave |

DavePage- sir I truly resent the fact that you seem to think I am a brainless nonthinking individual. This is a statement out of our Declaration of Independence that I chose to use to show just that...that people, men, women or children are not necessarily treated equal. ALL people should be considered equal.I have no servants...no one works for me. I work in a nursing home, and am going to school to become a nurse-to serve-people less fortunate than myself. My family has a history of serving in the military WILLINGLY. And as for seeing a woman raped or beaten no I have never witnessed such. Does that mean it doesn't happen? I can tell you from personal experience that it has. Can you? Kyle...you got that right kiddo RSWells...lol as soon as I cool off a little I wil check out the Alley...thanks |
