cocoa surfer candy
shark baitin' high
on half round sides
of an ocean fallin down
barefoot on green glass

sunday at the rincon
the wino is an artist
with his round rocks
becoming people again
but they don't talk

until the tide gets high
then they make grate sounds
murmer music under water
as they undress their ends
and exchange their edges

the yellow cab lady
smokes her eyes red
so she can haul the dui guys
four pack to a load
for appeal court appointments

at the rudder room municipal lounge

Your observations and metaphorical
underlinings always make me view your world
with an unjaded eye...

and I thank you for that.

I love the way you absorb a scene and then
select just the right words to paint your picture...

I know the rincon and that rudder room, lived near both years ago (and john's at the beach) seward/pierpont.
This made me a bit homesick for pch, the channel islands, and the jetties.

I find your images fascinating and truly outside the box for me.  Thanks for the chance to see things from a different eye.
