Why do I feel that I recognize your voice when,
in truth, I know you only in words?
Is it because your aim is pure?
Is it because of the skill of your pen?
Could it be your fearless pursuit of inner truth?
Maybe it's because you speak so simply of life's complexities?
Honestly, I hadn't made a list until now.
All I've ever done, or yet plan to do is read your words.
Amazing . . .
Even now, it's as if I can hear them falling from your lips!

Write, sweet poet.
I know your voice.

Well if this doesn't make every muse want to run and dip their pen into the ink well, I wouldn't know what would!  Welcome back, Robert!

Oh yeah, I've heard them as well. A great write.

Enjoyed.

Well I see you doing, What I try to do for me, With the words from a poet, And a voice from a choir, And a melody, nothing else matters. ~Stevie Nicks

Ah...let the voices in your head sing, Robert.  Things could be worse.  You could be deaf, internally AND externally...

and you're not!

you've captured the essence of a poet, and it is reflected...
back and forth, to and from you and me,
for within these pale blue pages of poetry we often see things we can't readily see under glaring flourescent reality

To touch a heart, without one word spoken, is a true trait of a poets potion....

A doctor, healing, feeling,
breaking down the walls
of the heart....

Making it soft and fluffy again...
like a nice pillow to lay your head...

I like heart shaped pillows...I can see yours is all fluffy and soft...ready for someone to rest their head.

Love and hugs

perhaps it is the compatibility which lures us in, the understanding, the patience and the gift to see beyond ourselves...into someone else's eyes, soul...perhaps that is also a testimony to change, the acceptance of who they are...to know them is to love them, regardless of their beliefs, they are exactly where they're supposed to be...a soul train awaits, always...be it man or woman, we love them for their minds, they're pure thoughts, they're struggles.

Outstanding right!

At times those sweet words flow over you like warm honey.Or they reach over and caress your cheek and dry your flowing tears
with a gentle smile.
Good one

"Amazing . . ."
Indeed!
Amazing what it can lead to.
And when the voice on the page echoes that voice in your head . . . well, watch out!
