I bid you welcome
Come in from the cold
Let me take your cloak
There are stories to be told

Settle before hearth
Warm yourself by the fire
And I shall tell the lore
Passed to daughter from sire

Of the dance of the ethereal
The fairies most fair
Who gather together
With the change of the air

They waltz across meadow
Casting pixie dust o’er the land
Causing the most amazing alteration
By the magic of their hand

Dew drops settle into diamonds
Shimmering in the shine of the moon
And leaves shed their green
Transforming into a colorful bloom

The long grass of meadow
Dons its golden coat most fine
And the clouds kiss the waters
In misty bliss of the divine

And the squire, he journeys
Into the fairy blessed realm
Searching for his one true love
Of whom the legends do tell

That she should come to him here
In the mystic cast of such a night
Her beauty most comely
Her soul blessed with heaven’s light

And here in this meadow
Where white enchantment is woven
He settled in to await
The coming of his chosen . . .

Ah now Susan, see what you did?  Fell right into Magnus' web, you did...for certainly, if the tale has just begun, then certainly, before all is done, there will be a middle, before an end...

write on!

Ah, thank you all most kindly for stopping by for a bit of lore and conversation - the fire is warm, the ale is flowing, and yes, the story will continue

That's how I see the ocean...upon the sun's glimmering glance in morning...this was beautiful Susan, a very lovely write.

You've got me hooked with tales of yore,
Dare I ask the Lady Susan for some more?

You tell a dazzling tale. It feels awfully familiar.
