My muse has up and left me, She's left me all alone. She took my pen with her, Now I can't right a pome. I cannot even spel write, I don't noe what to due, She nose all the big werds, So here I sit and stew. Why'd she up and leeve me? I rote what I waz toled, From little angel storeez, To knites in daze of olde. Oh, my goodness gracious! I think I'm gonna crie! 'Cause when I can't right poetry, My insides begin to dye. My muse has up and left me, She's left me all alone. She took my pen with her, Now I can't right a pome. |

Oooooh - I had this problem yesterday! I can't say how many pieces of paper were crumpled and thrown into the round recepticle. As for spelling, never could do that, but it is sooooo frustrating when the words won't come out right!  Then, last night, poof! And it was as if I experienced a great flood of relief.This was such a fun read and so, so true. Bless you little angel, with words and ink in abundance. Linda Sometimes it helps to write about a missing muse...it has helped me in the past...kind of takes you past the loss into the laughter. That's a good thing. Loved this!!! |

Kellsue ~ I wish that were true that she is just napping! But Ms. Tindal truly has been holding my muse captive down there in Florida! But I just read a tanka reply she wrote in her poem about holding my muse captive, and she is now preparing my muse to return to me up here in Ontario. I eagerly await my missing muse!
