behind your wall of water
where you hide the white stone
where your barefoot plays
with contimplative fingers

I wear my tree skin there
and bring you the birds
with luke warm eyes
and good book songs

you have shown me your boots
and the shine of toe jewelry
you wore black nylons
on your hands and arms

and pretended I was love
when you put my neck
on your pillow
and drew my face real

with magic marker thoughts
