St. Louis Serenade

I see my reflection in your warm honey gaze
I feel my love beating in your aspen gold heart
what a fierce hold you have on my soul
because you're all I think about
when I'm laying here beside you
you're all I dream about
when I'm laying here without you

I see you rolling around in the leaves
I feel my heart soar when you flash that smile
that perfect little childish grin
flashing like a morning sunbeam
pulling me into your arms
laughing, whispering into my ear
all the things we should do today

I see you running through sprinklers
I feel the taste of rain on my tongue
we waltzed to the sweet music
from a street corner fiddler
kissed 'neath the envious moon
that Shakespeare christened for you and I
hand in hand, sharing the cool night air

You'll see your reflection in my loving blue gaze
you'll feel your love beating in my adoring heart
just remember, I will never let you go
because you're all I love in this world
when you're laying here beside me
you're all I ever dreamed of
I pray I'll never lay here without you

Loved St. Louis (been a few years) any poem with that and Shakespeare gets my vote.
