a leaf
on the brook;

my shadow slid off;

i drove for miles

but can't remember
why i'm here;

something is lost

but i don't know
what it is,

pinch me

color me real,

nothing sticks,

floating by........

a leaf on the brook

cloud carosels
carry crazy blonde thoughts;

god is blowing on the sky

echoing eachoter,
the clowns go round and round and round;

i'm searching for body parts
tossed along the sunday drive

i have no home;

there is no connection;

just a leaf on the brook.

you can always hang out with us in the blue pages, it's a warm comfort zone home, with the rest of us floating leaves.
BTW, you have a really great smile.

Maybe I'm too forward in saying so, but I think I would swim in that brook. Your poem is beautiful. So is the thought behind it.

To echo TD, I always find peace in them too.  When I read you work, I always read it
aloud, savoring the pauses and pace.

Really does convey very well the sense of alienation .... when caught up in the unimportant
