I come here for relaxation
The perfect place for me to rest
I am in tune with Mother Nature
As I search from east to west

The shadows are growing longer
And with nature I'm at one
I sit gazing over the mountains
As I watch the setting sun

The tall pines cast a silhouette
Against a stunning amber sky
As I absorb the peace and quiet
I feel my spirit start to rise

A bird calls from the wilderness
As the moon comes into view
Here I sit peacefully in my solitude
As the stars come shining through

I actually wrote this poem after
I saw this picture.Unfortunately,
I have never been to this place so
I merely imagined what it must be like.

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Mmmmm, I am surrounded with places such as that. I lived once in such a paradise. What sweet sensations of memory this calls up for me. Thanks Sue.

I often wish I hadn't stopped taking photographs as you describe words.

I have been thinking of heading up to Northern Alabama or Georgia to the mountains and waterfalls...I just may do that this week

Photography is another of my passions that I haven't had the time for lately but now that Spring has come here in Australia I think that is a good enough excuse to get my camera out.
