standing on a shadow's lace

Naked

the morning
slipped out of
enough buttons
to make it interesting

I had traveled with the wind
riding the breeze to
a symphony where notes
were playing softly
a melody on cattails
ringing through the air
yellow and tan straw stood
clearly ruffling among green
where eternity stood naked
right in front of me

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart

Awww...thought for a moment you were telling us you'd entered a new pic for your profile......

Sorry, shouldn't joke about a seriously good poem, but these chances don't come every day (they don't???)....

From where I stand eternity looks pretty good

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Interesting is just one outlook ....

Helen:

this reminded me of this:

though rare in time,
are frequent in eternity."
