sleeping peacefully

I find myself gazing at your beauty

I can say to myself
another day of love
let the sun shine bright

Only in the morning
I get my first kiss of the day
and get lost in your eyes
Just at your very sight

Only in the morning
I wish for the night to begin
to forego the remaining day
so when I wake in the morning
I can say I love you
In the morning all over again

This was a touching write. I feel the same about waking up next to my wife. I can relate. Your poetry is charged with emotion. Very inspiring. Another great poem.
