The guy beside you know all your names he thinks this makes you his slave and this makes him brave He knows all your stories He tells them to friends and they never end On your knees you appear to be a rose colored swan but we know all too well your fabrication this mess that your making Everyone needs to touch you To know that your real To feel righteous wrong There are things put to bed that no longer need to be they say your lovely on your back wide eyed and watching a clock on the wall nothing can empty a mind Some of us like your screams You know what they want Need is controlled by want Guilt is hot and we covet the steel you once wore your heart on your sleeve now you wear something You and I we have never met One is us is lyin' our masquerade wont hold up under torture I was born to write this now let me fulfill the prophecy bring this to logical conclusion encircle the circle my very last opinion New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire |

A self fulfilling prophecy perchance? There are some excellent lines here. Would love the explanantion of the inspiration. A little confused by the ending. Grin... The title is a bit scary...I gotta read this again. |

Thanks for the replies, the best way i can describe my mindset when i was writing this, would be to imagine a downward spiral relationship, a mutual parasitic relationship, then add in a third party and just brace for this huge egocentric explosion.I consider myself a watcher, a passive onlooker and this kind of describes how i percieve the world and the human condition.
