Don't Change..... Rearrange!! |

I hate to pack, I hate to move! I don't do well with change. Who needs to have a brand new house, get real, just rearrange! Put the couch out in the back yard. Kitchen table on the roof. Put your mattress in the bathroom. You'll feel different, that's the truth. Put the dishes in the closet, put the pans out in the pool. Think the food goes in the pantry? Try the basement with the tools. Put the dressers in the kitchen, hang your clothes out in the tree. Use the bushes for your potty. A whole new compost recipe!!! Imagine lounging on your new deck with its carpet wall to wall. Of course, you'll have to rake your livingroom when summer turns to fall. Put your toothbrush in the toolbox, cleaning up's no longer hard. With this system it's now easy your new showers in the yard. I know this all sounds stupid, a house needs walls and doors with locks. But it kept me from complaining while I packed another box. Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all. |

Ugh! I'm in the same boat, but I have to move without moving....because the carpet men are coming this morning, and ALL the furniture has to be trudged out into the yard.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

I don't need this, I don't need that, just throw it all away. I don't know why I kept this, who needs dishes anyway. 40 spoons, 8 forks.. ONE KNIFE??? And where did this come from?? Cleaning out the closets... NOT my idea of fun. Every time I do this thing, this moving thing we do. I swear I'll throw it all away and buy my stuff brand new. In case you haven't figured out MS. PACK RAT is my name. I came by it honestly, my mom was just the same. If your in need of obscure stuff you know just where to come. Some little gadget you don't have, I'll bet that I've got one. Why do I feel the need to keep each scrap and tiny bit. Of ribbon, rope, tape... scotch and duct, why do I save this... um.. crap.. (hehe) Each piece of furniture I've moved reveals a penny or a dime. I put them in my pocket to buy more crap to move.. next time. |

TeeHee - very cute, very fun. Thanks for the smile. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Next time I feel the need to move from one place to another. I'm gonna hire big strong men with muscles like my brother. My back is achin' knees are crackin' three boxes out three boxes back in. The kids are whinin' and complainin' the race is on the junk is gainin'. When everything is put away you think it won't be tuff. I think all my crap is mating and the junk gave birth stuff. Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all. |

Lucie, But when it's packed and you're all done. You'll reflect upon this move and think that it was fun. Moving helps us purge for we seldom get the urge to pile up our junk and take it to the dump Spring cleaning isn't possible that much cleaning is improbable. But relocate now and then and you'll be living clean again. So buckle down and tough it out it's what the american way is all about. And when it's over and your in you likely won't ever do it all again. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
