Distilled, the days that have enchanted me Through silence and through favor Comes rolling off my tongue In subtle spearmint flavor In the shadow of your touch Danced beneath the whisper of fingertips Memories served crisp of colors Crumbling leaves in fall and flutters A smile that edges over, moving slower Holding back against unstoppable The blur of heartbeat echoes north Rocking me in songs set forth Soothing all the days a sway in distant long The fireplace resumes familiar welcome in the air And cool becomes my favorite sunshine fare Our timeā¦the most alike that we could be So close surrounds each memory The gold shines every leaf and crevice At home inside the seasons love has led us A promise still so easy to fulfill Eminent domains of faith hold still And tumble into lightest touch Adrift the colors warm each blush Anew, well springs the autumn Copyright Kkh 9/2/04 |

Don't tell me the trees are starting to change already. Here I am battling 90 percent humidity and she is basking in the coolness of the year. To move or not to move... (flipping coin)....ooops! Dropped it... We'll never know.. Very beautiful write K. very colorful. |
