Of Poems When poems avail humanity They sail a sense of filigree And weigh upon each depth of zeal Each cognizance of souls appeal Some nip and sip each fragile phrase And some will give it grace of praise Some will clear the mist away And take it to their heart to stay Each will sit a separate gleam Judging from its separate dream Collected in the flow of time And make from it a show of rhyme And from the myriad worlds will grow Difference like each flake of snow To weave a section of embrace To make the shawl of human lace And though I drift a rivers bend I really feel there is no end. |

What we read and take from poems may not be the authors intention...and yet, touches us all in so many different ways, one line may change a person's life, or gift them warmth for the day...in your case Sy...yours give the reader rhyme and reason, faith, hope, warmth and genuine care Hugs, wishing you and your family safe haven Lee J. |
