Stick in mud
Stir the brew
Write the words
Be them true

Dried the mud
Sunned the dew
Ride words
that undust blew.

sundried raisin
glazed rust
condensed
letters
mood
thrust
          slow drip
   puddle filled
puddin mud
jellied toe
yum yum

{{{ a definite case of writer block!!!}}}
oh, well, it is something, something of a mess, but something!  To all that read this, have a good day!

seems to me this wasn't writers block at all, but instead, a very creative description of EDP...Employee Development Program...hehe

Seriously, well done...enjoyable to read

I don't believe there is one of us here who hasn't gone through this exact same thing.
And what do we do when we cant write and our muses refuse to help us out...
we write about not being able to write!!
Enjoyed this break in my day!

THIS, I know...

Muse at Work

Keys click
thoughts stick
poets pick

rhymes form
poems born
early morn

late night
moon's light
poets unite

keys click
muse worn
penned plight

I either can't write when I don't feel, or when I feel too much.  Sheesh, how often is that -- let's not go there!

Enjoyed this.  I agree with Donna.  We often write of not being able to write when the words won't come, and yet, in that sense, they do.  Hows that for a conundrum.

Three step cure:

     1.  Select large Writer's Block

     2.  Pound head until tender

     3.  Go write something -- anything at all

There! See how easy that was?

Susan,
" either can't write when I don't feel, or when I feel too much.  Sheesh, how often is that -- let's not go there!"   I couldn't state it better if I tried.  Yep, you've got
the right track.   Thanks for being there.
  Have a great weekend!
