No More Tears The rivers of my heart have run dry In the deepest caverns of my soul--- Caverns that once whispered to the auburn waters That flowed silently and gently through golden chambers, Joyfully feeding into the vessels of my once sleeping beloved; Now there is nothing more than emptiness and cold, Where lonely stalactites drip echoes in a song of lost dreams… Where did my love for her go? A love that beautified a borrowed existence With flowers that smelled of forever… If only I could remember how to weep again Instead of crying these invisible tears that burn into my heart. Marcel |

Keith, something tells me you have the answer at hand. Nicely done, lots of feel to this. |

Grief is different for everyone. You expressed yours very well. It is so sad, though. |

Your works inspire my reprieve on experiences that brought me to crossroads, and knees. A cleansing breath here. Excellent write. TD |
