Squelching the inner fears of man But we should not leave him To the confines of history Of a box Or even of his own words Should we? Why should we accept the mere circumstance of his breath? The thunder of why and the chorus of happenstance and foolish men The whisper Of doubt Of pride and intelligence But power is love And strength not bidden rises Surprising even the doer, so weak What is weakness? is it inability or humility is it foolishness, Childishness- Leave those ways behind! Or is it stubbornness And faith in one’s own knowledge and perfection Of years built upon foundations of culture and wisdom and tradition Even if tradition is change But love Is the strength of all man Is the strength of one man Who said it all And that is my signature |

wow, this piece is so beautiful. I can't even begin to describe the wealth of emotions that I gained from reading this. Very well written. ~Live and Laugh~ Don't look to me for perfection for I will surely let you down. |

people sometimes fear the darkness of mockery rather then to stand up for what they believe in. It's like the beautiful young Olympic gymnast said...it's not about winning the Gold, Silver or Bronze, but the grace of being there A very well written poem |

You brought the title well into the poem and the ending tied it all in. |
