River wide and chill
Running noisily down the hill
Over many stones
Between the old homes and shores
Carries mud galore
Fast rushing with splash and spin
So much it barely stays in.

This happens every time we get a lot of rain around here. Could also describe some people's feelings at certain times. Great write.
