Scratched The Syllables Drew Curves |

In the final dance of sun That now sets earlier with each passing day a portend of longer times spent Huddled against a migrating wind Some fragments of light remain That break off the waves set below us Into splintered bits that illuminate Just part of you Once to shine on arm Then again cross your thigh But you are impervious to their charm And sit staring out beyond the shore Pondering no doubt Weighty matters that are too heavy to float On this evenings light breeze Or to be set aside and picked up again Some other time I imagine how I’d sketch you clad in sky Of how the turn of curve would lead me to draw Longer lines along your back And of how the light might be played across your face Half shadowed More thoughtful perhaps than tender Yet still enticing in the way as woman you display Beauty of softer form But the light is fading And I do not find a pencil to fit my hands Only words to remember And dreams of nights this warm And of sand And of then |

I imagine how I’d sketch you clad in sky Of how the turn of curve would lead me to draw Longer lines along your back And of how the light might be played across your face Half shadowed More thoughtful perhaps than tender Yet still enticing in the way as woman you display Beauty of softer form despite the ending, Ron I loved this view of your words..helped make my day nicer~~ M ( and thanks for the hug) |

a half smile played along the edge of lips and she felt the blush of cheek Too OLD she thought and shook her head Yet he knew... the words would capture not enough and paper could not hold the things inside ~*~ and this? You can't delete...  and if pushed, I can lock threads, too! |

JUST DONT STOP......... but PUHLEEEEEEEZE STOP deleting and editing .... sheeesh.... I saw them..got a phone call...came back and they were gone... grrrrr..... ya know...you aint THAT far away from me... dont make a moth walk there on her lips to kick yer poetic butt... LOL |
