 Picture by Josephine Wall * * * Upon a sea of love I sail To many places I have been The ocean is always changing From shades of blue to green I have crossed unchartered waters As I am searching for your love I have been to far horizons And to the mountains high above I set my compass to your heart With the wind at my sail As I move closer towards you I know that love will prevail The seabirds serve to guide me As I reach the sandy shore Like the ever changing tides You keep me coming back for more My compass signals that you're near As I walk along the golden sand Just as the sun has started setting Out across this wondrous land I spy a piece of driftwood Washed up from the night before And right there before my eyes Sits the man who I adore * * * "If I never met him I would have dreamed him into being" I am in motion |
