The Last Kiss

Just one last kiss...
And the symphony of Love
Will cease its magic chord;
Stillness will rule the music Hall.

Just one last kiss...
And the vibrant colors
Will turn to pallid grey;
Only shadows will mark their stay.

Just one last kiss...
And the heart will fissure;
Will seep a crimson line;
Love's potion draining from its flask.

Just one last kiss...
You fade away from sight;
I stand on a desert road --
The Path effaced by the winds of Fate.
