there is no way to reach false gods from here the Irish widow knows this but still she keeps you and cradles you as a child in her arms you remember now how you ran through the woods for hours terrified of your own shadow believing in the power of memory choking on a reaction and everyone was nodding as light slipped through an approving sky how many times have you failed her? you were just a child in her arms and how we spilled her blood and ran because there’s a need to feed sorry lions the meat is tough but its just how they would want it if they want anything at all dozing off in your cautious career trying to tell the future through the ripples of an opinion just thinking of a life untouched but as a child in her arms you were chewing as you touch New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire |
