Summer Haze
Sun is playing boo peek, hiding behind long wish-washed pale blue layers holding bleached spots with dull edges, giving a new feel to soft sensations, good vibrations covering, coveting downed sides and lifted chins…
and we never think that sun eyedrops on lovers, hidden beneath trees or even out in open grasses, exploring anew old lines with shadows and southern comfort re-designing words like shockwaves into reformed awakenings…
and funny how years fall away when chemistry renews what once was thought over and done, oh/god/(ess)/yes, while silence is filling hearts as, bereft gone are all words, though sounds still dance on summerwinds
butterflies tickling sunbared skin
and windsongs tickle underbellies while even ever envious clouds join as huge, melding molten edges, entangling their see us dance in an embrace so hard, that their own tears softly fall adding to the lush of must.
Somewhere a birdsound clears the air

This is wonderful Soleil. Some of the images are just what I needed to give me that push out the door back to Quiet Waters. Hugs!~ Those who complain the sun has gone out of their world ....have obviously never danced in the rain ~

Love the "southern comfort" reference. Reminds me of a day not long ago that I've been trying to get into verse ever since. Enjoyed the read Soleil...

Oh this is sweet-on-sweet! Direct to my library -- you really outdid yourself with this one.
This one really took me....I was half done reading it, and realized that this was my second time through. I'd hit the end and started over without even thinking about it. ~~J

Oh I miss summer.. and you've made me miss it even more, and that's a good thing.

Beautiful writing, beautiful imagery, and I am going back to the days of my youth now...for some beautiful memories. Thanks for the lovely sharing. ....jo
