Abstinence It was, save for two months pregnant, my thirtieth year full term at January’s backdoor midst the Winter bite, with an Orwellian prophecy without doubt unfolding. In hindsight, two decades plus eight months past I perceive stimulation visited my sweat lodge beckoning me from one half a Van Winkle sleep to muse on the metamorphosis of life predating and that which was to pass in front weepy eyes sheltered by limping shadows of abstinence. From this vantage point, two decades plus eight months out from the birthing knowledge is further a precious commodity, growth a prerequisite of passion and sweat……. the blood of dream weavers. I read this 3 times..wanting so badly to get the entirety of meaning... I fail. But I liked it anyway.. "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |

wow. ah.. no. my time is no more valuable than the next persons. What I meant was that I read it three times because it was that good, and I wanted to understand every word. |

I love mysteries and this one is wonderful! I read it as very political, but then again, the reader can bend it in many directions. Bravo! |

"From this vantage point, two decades plus eight months out from the birthing knowledge is further a precious commodity, growth a prerequisite of passion and sweat……. the blood of dream weavers." and I reread it several times, but got a totally different meaning. Isn't poetry at its best when it can have several interpretations? Thank you for sharing. Stimulating reading. miscellanea |

Thank you for reading.....all of you. I wish I could tell the meaning, but that really wouldn't be right. Contabo |
