Crescent Moon shines down... troubles the heart of little Dehlia. Framed in a crimson-draped window, she gently touches the white roses that she places in the arms of her doll. Dark eyes fill her mind with comfort, glow with love from the starry heavens above. 'You are my beautiful angel, she thinks. Are you beside me, Mama? I miss your black hair that you tucked inside that floppy, navy hat you always wore. Mama, can you see the white dress that you made for me? I am wearing it today. You are in my white dress, my blue blanket that we would wrap ourselves in on those cold winter nights, the white roses that you grew in your garden of special delights.' Crescent Moon shines down... lights up the broken heart of little Dehlia. Crimson drapes wrap themselves around those moments where she lives inside the warmth of her dear Mother's soft laughter |
