Drink to get away for another hour or minute or second One last sip to the bottom I miss untill it's to late its me who is comtemplating my own fate Just want to be happy just want to enjoy my life not endure the pain that has been bestowed on me just want to be free from my pain my agony don't worry im not going to anything stupid just was a poem I written last nite to get negative stuff out. besides that do you think its good nuff for me to file in my records Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me..... |

It is good to use poetry to exorcise demons in us. When I have something very painful to say with poetry, I try to remember that others may not want to hear about it though. Everyone has problems. So I pile on the metaphors!!! If you want to file this away to read again, then by all means do so. I would… and then when the mood lightened, I would revise. You will be amazed how that will help you. You keep writing!!!!!
