We are all extensions… arms, of the global village. Whom did you hug or beat today? * Thanking Marshall McLuhan, for these two concepts which have inspired me numerous times: "the medium is the message" and "the global village" FYI: Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man, in 1964. The subject that would occupy most of McLuhan's career was the task of understanding the effects of technology as it related to popular culture, and how this in turn affected human beings and their relations with one another in communities. http://www.leaderu.com/orgs/probe/docs/mcluhan.html |

I must differ with you Not on the poem, well done, But the phrase: Global Village, Because it’s wrong, this sphere is too complex for village status. Global Society Better evaluation. Gloom |

Would that all should consider this a world filled with one race, one people, that of the human kind. I vote for the embrace . . . susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
