To explain this poem and the odd little symbolism, I will tell you this idea came when talking to a friend about how the jocks in school act bigger and tougher and smarter, and how she is afraid of them. And if you psooibly understand the symbolism please tell me I will consider you great if you can understand my mind. FEAR NOT THE LION WHICH WE TAME, AND FEAR NOT THE PERSECUTED LYER, FEAR ONLY THAT WHICH IS DEAD, YET LIVES. life is short kill quick |

Firstly Welcome Back!! We missed you  Can I guess you are saying the jocks soul/inner self/ brains are dead ie it's all an act etc. That soul lives it functions but is not truly alive? First of all Tom... < !signature-->It's short...but says alot.. To me...I think so much esteem is put on jocks that it's undeserved.. And that makes them dangerous... It excludes them from the regular crowd...thus thinking they are above and beyond reproach....that's what I got from it anyway  Jenny Lee Love is an attempt at penetrating another being,But it can only succeed if the surrender is mutual. This poem ment fear not the prep which we can control and fear not the lyer whose lies we can see through but only fear those which they have hurt (me and my friends and others like us) If all who are born are ment to die, I should not have been born, for I will never die. |
