As I sit here Up her in my high place I look down at the darkness engulfing me But i am safe In my high place with the darkness way down below All my life In my safe place with danger far below I am cold here up high i wish i could run Climb or crow Safety's over Says my safe place way up high now far below the darkness now round my ankles So now we have nowhere to go touch me deep In my soul The darkness goes Inside of me Now i poluted In the dark world Into darkness see me go Now i've long forgotten safety Long ago did brightness go All alone in the darkness All alone I miss it so Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace, of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd |

I like the way you lowered yourself in, as the poem went. There could be lots of explanations for this poem, but what I got from it was that you were once happy and now you have fallen into some kind of depression. The safety was more like the comfort that you felt. Is it something along the lines of an emotional problem or more physically (like, in the world)? Whatever it is- I really enjoyed it. |

I really liked this... my advice? Come down out of the safety zone and allow your heart and soul to open up, trust and love again!! Is that along the right lines? The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there IS to celebrate. ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |
