do you believe in magic,
or the power that it supposes.
a simple wave of the magic wand,
produces falsehood roses.

illusions made before the eye,
to tease the simple mind.
the hand is quicker than the eye,
the heart gets left behind.

are we all not magicians,
in some evil sorted way.
playing tricks on others souls,
their hearts we steal away.

Wow mo! I don't know how i missed this one before. It is an interesting point of view. I really enjoyed this. But I would like to think there are good magicians and bad. Although I have only known the bad, if we all use use magic to steal or win the heart of another, I would like to think that mine is good. I've never been able to hurt the one I love the way he hurt me. Maybe the difference is the truths that lay behind the magic. Eighther the magic is pure illusion or it is the most simple beautiful form of magic, that of love.
But like I said that was a very interesting point of view. And as you can see it got me thinking. Sorry if I rambled on to much, and I really liked this poem!
