light or darkness?

darkness forever ebbing the light,
light forever ebbing the darkness.
who will the victor be.
when time is oer,
and laid to rest,
the dirt thrown on the grave.
inside the tomb,
all alone,
to the darkness be a slave.
the soul to leave the resting place,
the flesh becomes the dust.
to leave the mortal side behind,
and in the light to trust.
splayed across the universe,
void of shape or form.
a spectrum in a ray of light,
from whence there comes a storm.
the ray of hope that's called the light,
is encompassed by the cloud.
faded out by density,
succumbs without a sound.
but somewhere in the distance,
the darkness pierced again.
by another shredded ray of light,
the cycle repeats again.
darkness forever ebbs the light,
light forever ebbs the darkness.
who will the victor be.

Light has to have Dark and on and on!!

Light always wins even thought sometimes it looks exactly the opposite! good job!
