Depths of despair, Unending pain, Tortured heart and soul, Nothing to gain. Razor sharp teeth, Smash and knaw once more, The victims in life, Are not only the poor. Good deeds turned sour, Good intentions gone wrong, Suffering in silence, All the day long. And nights are worse, When you feel this way, Praying for forgiveness, For the comforting light of day. Surrounded by friends, Yet alone inside, No warming embrace, In which I can hide. Sunlight burns my soul's skin, Just like a vampire it fries, Danger illuminating the void, So sick of life's little lies. Dismal realities are still there to be had, Sometimes can't tell the good from the bad, Erupting visions pound in my head, And plague me nightly when I'm in bed. 'You ARE alone!' they cry, 'And you always will be.' 'There isn't a difference, Between you and me!' With that knowledge to bear, The world it darkens, What happened to the days, When life was sparkling? ------------------ The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there IS to celebrate. ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |

I ask myself that every day lately. I hope you find that "sparkle" soon Isis, I truly do. It is very hard when it seems there is nothing to look forward to, but we just have to keep the heart and make the best of what we have untill life sweeps us off our feet with the next new experience that is waiting right around the corner  Smile girl  Nice work too!------------------ Life is what you make of it...
