Where is my ample yearning For a search of myselfe? Forgotten and no desire To keep learning. Still shadows dance Like a false flickering fire. My head dizzy, my eyes twitch. Consumed by the Devil in a bottle, While I consume too much. I mask myself I laugh with them Then a smooth waterfall Of endless tears Sooth me to sleep. That is how it was once. I remember pain, I remember sorrow. I can recall sadness, I once knew happiness. But now I remain empty. No tears No pitty No regret No emotion No sensation No feeling. My heart is gone, I no longer care. How can this be? I, before, was sweet and kind. Now, I hold back a rage. This rage is the only Feeling I have left. So desperatly, I long for A soul mate of sorts. A companion, A complete woman To make me feel again, To calm my rage, To give me hope. O how I long for someone to love O how I long for someone to love, Me. ------------------ Stable, opaque, immortal–all by dint Of the dear names that lie concealed within't. ==EAP== "An Enigma" |
