toys and memories from the past,
keeps us young at heart.
how sweet it would be,
from that life to never, ever part.

having no worries or stress to fear,
that would be just dandy.
oh, how i cry to be young again,
and eat lots and lots of candy.

to get up early, or sleep in late,
the decision would be mine.
to have no job and still get money,
that would be just fine.

to fall in love once a week,
with a little blonde haired girl.
with eyes of blue, that sparkle and shine,
amidst those golden curls.

life was oh so simple then,
why do we have to age.
we should start out old, then turn young,
go backwards page by page.

This was very sweet....I do to have many good memories of childhood!! But, there are many people who had very dark memories of being children and I wouldn't wish them to return there at all!! Nicely done!!

Oh those innocence thougts of the young so beautiful! I wish I could go back to those again. I do wish we wouldent taint are young with thoughts of racism and all those terrible traits adults have!!!!
