Caring is obsolete Intimacy is sex Love is a social disease Sex is it T & A Levi's 501 blues Feelings crushed to powder And swept under the carpet Do it Passionate Id No Ego, no teaching Superego has taken a ride Role models are sex symbols Nice smile, nice hair, Oh hey... She's scratching her head, Must be dandruff Rebuttal of the physical The ultimate prejudice Look good--Feel good Look good--Looked over Look good--Felt up--No choice Look different--All alone Act yourself, nix general approval But does it matter? Who cares anyway? DB |

**Scratches head full of black and pink hair** I really like this one....I can truly relate. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

Yeah, superego's taking one hell of a ride too....'99 Harley, leather jacket, whew! Can't touch this!...sorry, my imagine got the best of me here with my little 2-stroke Honda and 80's lookin' Members Only jacket....no wonder I'm bummin', I look like crap. Great poem, Deep Blue, love the Freudian referances. I'd point out you my favorite line but this one packed so many solid punches I'd be hard pressed to choose. Michael |
