Scared Scared, scared to trust, scared it'll only be lust. Scared me, I'm afraid I'll go back to the way I use to be. Scared of everything and everyone. I'm scared that in life, I'll never get anything accomplished, never get anything done. Scared to go to sleep at nite, scared I'll have a nightmare, so I stay and watch t.v. out of fright. I'm so scared I'll go back to hurting myself, so my parents put the knives high up in their closet on the shelf. No one will ever know how scared I truly am. I'll take this secret to my grave, but for now I have to pretend to be brave. ------------------ To live is to love, and to love is to live... the meaning of life. |
